Why the way you learn SOLIDWORKS matters
Most SOLIDWORKS tutorials
β Stuck in button-clicking mode β you learn commands in isolation, without ever seeing how they fit together in a real product.
β Endless small exercises β you start things over and over again, but rarely reach a satisfying end result.
β Constant uncertainty β you follow steps, but donβt truly understand the modeling decisions behind them.
β Frustration with complex shapes β as soon as geometry gets harder, progress slows down and doubt creeps in.
β Knowledge that doesnβt transfer β what you learn in tutorials falls apart the moment you try to model your own project.
β That βI should be better by nowβ feeling β time passes, videos pile up, but confidence never really arrives.
LearnSOLIDWORKS
β
Model complete products from start to finish β not fragments, but real designs you can look at and say: I built this.
β
Understand the reasoning behind every step β so youβre not guessing anymore, but making confident modeling decisions.
β
Tackle complex geometry with a clear plan β instead of trial and error, you follow a logical, calm approach.
β
Build real confidence in your skills β because you know you can recreate the process on your own projects.
β
Create portfolio-ready models β products that actually show your level when applying for jobs or freelance work.
β
Enjoy modeling again β with less stress, less frustration, and more focus, fun, flow, and a real sense of control over your designs.

Why I teach SOLIDWORKS this way
Iβve been working with SOLIDWORKS for over 20 years as a designer and educator. Over time, I noticed a clear pattern: people donβt struggle because SOLIDWORKS is too complex β they struggle because theyβre taught to memorize buttons instead of how professionals actually think while modeling.
In real projects, I start with sketches β often hand-sketched β which I import as underlays. From there, I define the main lines and structure first, and only then move into detailing. Everything is built in a controlled, organized way, so you keep maximum control over your design.
My goal isnβt to make you memorize features, but to teach you how to build models in a logical, stable way β so they stay predictable, editable, and under control, even when geometry gets complex. That same approach works for both remodeling existing products and designing completely new ones.
